How long will it take for me to receive my order?

Generally most orders will be ready to ship within 2-4 weeks once a payment (deposit) is received. Special orders may take longer.

Can my order be shipped before the final payment is made?

Unfortunately, because we are a small business we cannot ship out any orders made on KarenHarry.com or custom requests until an order is paid in full.

How many pieces of clothing do I need for a Memory Quilt?

We create beautiful custom pieces with as little as one piece of fabric, or a box full.

I’m worried I don’t have enough fabric for the Memory Quilt size I’d like. What should I do?

Take several deep breathes. Don’t worry! We will customize and coordinate fabrics that compliment what you do have so you can have a beautiful quilt you’d love. We can make the fabrics you do have a focal point or integrate it throughout the pattern of the quilt.

How much is too much to send for a custom piece?

No need to go overboard, but if you are using fabrics we will do our best to incorporate a variety of styles, patters and themes to build your custom piece.

Will any unused clothing or fabric I send be returned to me?

It’s up to you. If you’d like for us to send back any unused fabric we can do so with your shipment. Generally, we will only return fabrics and clothing that have not been cut.

Any items that you do not want returned to you and are uncut and in good condition will be donated to the Salvation Army.

Are there any fabrics that are best to send?

Custom pieces can be made from almost any material however, cotton and cotton blend are the most durable to be used for quilting.

When will the team begin working on my order?

Supplies, materials and any additional fabrications that are reserved for an order once a deposit is made.

If I am not sure what kind of bag I want, can I send a picture?

Yes! Please do! If you have a style in mind, please upload a photo along with your custom order request here.

Where should I ship my fabrics?

Once you place your order, you will receive instructions on how to package and ship your fabrics as well as our shipping address.

Why is the cost on the shop page different than my order?

When you order a custom item you are paying only a 50% deposit at the time you submit your order. The remaining balance will be due before your product is shipped to you.

Should I ship products using certified mail?

Certified mail makes customer more comfortable, especially when shipping one of a kind fabrics. Please feel free to ship your fabrics with certified tracking so both you and the Karen Harry team are aware of the status of your shipment and it’s location.
